TWEEN + TEEN STUDIO | Plaster Cast Collage: Your Favorite Things
$20.00

Wednesday, October 28 | 5:30–7:00 PM
$20 | Middle School + Up
With Ms. Lola

LEGO minifigures. Smiski. Tiny animals. Cars. Dinosaurs. Game pieces. Trinkets. Random little objects you’ve collected and love.

Bring them to the studio!

In this Teen Studio workshop, we’ll turn your favorite little things into a one-of-a-kind plaster cast collage.

You’ll arrange your collection into a composition, create a mold, and cast your design in plaster. Then we’ll break out the paints to bring your piece to life! Go bold and colorful, highlight your favorite details, keep it monochromatic, or leave some of that beautiful raw plaster showing.

What to Bring:
Bring 5–10 small toys, figures, or trinkets that represent what you’re into right now. Choose objects you’re comfortable using in the mold-making process and leave anything especially valuable or irreplaceable at home.

We’ll provide the plaster, mold-making materials, paints, tools + everything else you need.

No experience needed. Just bring your favorite little things and come make something cool.

Space is limited for this workshop, so be sure to register early to save your spot!

$20 per person | Middle School + Up

We’ll have plenty of templates and inspiration to get you started, but you’re welcome to bring your own drawings, images, or designs to work from. Think favorite characters, symbols, nature, patterns, or whatever you’re into right now.

Ms. Lola will guide you through the tools and techniques, then give you the freedom to experiment with your own ideas.

All materials + tools provided. No experience needed.

Come with an idea or discover one while you’re here!

Some projects will be guided, while others will leave plenty of room for kids to follow their own ideas. We love giving young artists the tools, materials, and encouragement to experiment, problem-solve, and discover what they can create.

And of course, camp wouldn’t be camp without the people who make it so much fun!

Kids will spend their days creating, laughing, and exploring alongside Ms. Kasie, Ms. Lola, helper Addy + Ms. Whitney!

YES, WE’RE MAKING ART

But we’re practicing so much more.

Learning to trust an idea and make creative decisions independently.

Confidence

Identity

Developing a creative voice and discovering, This is how I make.

Discovering that something not working the first time doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you have another problem to solve.

Resilience

Creating alongside other young people who are curious, imaginative and excited to make things, too.

Belonging

Figuring out how materials work, adapting an idea and finding a way forward.

Critical Thinking

Parents have shared with us that they’ve watched their children’s confidence grow through our programs.

And some have shared something we value just as much:

Their child has found their community here.

That’s what we hope this studio can become.
