This process-based art class offers a sanctuary for emotional healing, where the primary objective is to engage with the creative journey rather than produce a finished masterpiece.

In this guided session, you’ll use various mediums—such as printmaking, paints, or collage—as intuitive, non-verbal tools to externalize complex feelings like grief, trauma, or anxiety. By focusing on sensory exploration and the physical act of making art, you are encouraged to release pent-up emotions, fostering a sense of control, self-discovery, and mindfulness.

We’ll provide a non-judgmental, safe environment where the emphasis remains entirely on your inner experience. This allows for spontaneous, honest expression that transforms abstract feelings into tangible, therapeutic art.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • We will use a wide variety of mediums (paint, collage, printmaking) for intuitive expression

  • Sensory exploration techniques to ground yourself in the creative process

  • How to use the physical act of making to externalize complex emotions

  • Practicing mindfulness and "letting go" of the final result

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:

  • A supportive space to process feelings without needing the "right" words

  • No pressure to create a "perfect" piece of art

  • A calm, therapeutic studio environment focused on self-discovery

  • An opportunity to transform abstract emotions into something tangible

  • A judgement free space to create alongside others

This workshop is beginner-friendly, thoughtfully guided, and a great fit for curious creatives of all experience levels. Ages 18+ welcome

**Though this is a FREE event - registration REQUIRED
**Our studio is located on the second floor with stair access.
