Matcha & Mindfulness: A Half-Day Creative Retreat

$125.00

May 16th | 9:30AM-1:30PM | $125

Step away from the pace of everyday life and join us for a half-day retreat centered on creativity, ritual, and intentional rest. This collaborative experience brings together artists and wellness practitioners from our community for a morning of making, movement, and mindful connection.

Together with Sora Matcha, we’ll explore the beauty of slowing down through hands-on creativity and shared ritual. Guests will hand-build their own ceramic matcha bowl, learning simple clay techniques to shape a functional piece you’ll use in your future tea practice. You’ll also take part in a guided matcha workshop, where you’ll learn the basics of preparing and enjoying matcha with care and intention.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll move through a series of calming experiences designed to nourish both body and mind. Guests may choose to participate in a gentle yoga session led by Samantha or opt into a quiet art journaling experience guided by Sadie, offering two different ways to slow down and connect with the present moment.

Midway through the retreat, guests will pause to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared brunch from KBee Bakery, creating time to relax, connect, and enjoy the community forming around the table.

Activities may take place together as a group or through relaxed, rotating stations depending on the size of the group, allowing the experience to flow naturally and comfortably.
