Wednesdays | 6:00-7:00pm
October 7th, 17th, and 21st. Open Studio October 31st 10-2pm
Paper can be so much more than a surface to work on. This month, we’ll explore paper as a creative medium all its own.
Across three weeks, artists will learn traditional sheet-forming techniques and then push the process further—using colored pulp to create imagery within handmade paper, experimenting with paper lace, and transforming pulp into dimensional sculptural forms.
Students will be introduced to techniques, examples and possibilities rather than a single finished project to recreate. They’ll have space to experiment with the material, develop their own ideas, problem-solve and create work that reflects their individual approach.
3-week series • Middle School
Enrolled students are also invited to attend our monthly Community Open Studio complimentary, where work from the month’s program will be displayed and celebrated.
