6th-8th Grade: Earth & Art
Tuesdays | 6:15-7:45 PM | May 13, 20, 27
This month, we’re turning to nature as our inspiration! Each age group will explore garden and earth-based materials to create vibrant, hands-on art projects that connect with the season. Students will also work together to create a collaborative piece to be donated to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore Art Sale in August—a chance for our young artists to share their creativity with the wider community!
Middle school artists will take a deeper dive into artistic techniques inspired by the natural world. We’ll create bold prints using tree stumps, design mosaic stepping stones, experiment with natural dyeing, and paint sculptural garden art. Students will collaborate on a final piece to be donated to the ReStore Art Sale, building both skills and community along the way.
Scholarships Available – We’re committed to making art education accessible! Email us at hello@thesheboygancollective.com to inquire.
