3rd-5th Grade: Nature-Inspired Makers
Mondays | 4:30-5:30 PM | May 12, 19, and TUESDAY May 27
This month, we’re turning to nature as our inspiration! Each age group will explore garden and earth-based materials to create vibrant, hands-on art projects that connect with the season. Students will also work together to create a collaborative piece to be donated to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore Art Sale in August—a chance for our young artists to share their creativity with the wider community!
Young artists in grades 3–5 will dive into a series of creative nature-based projects like printing with tree stumps, painting sticks for garden sculptures, and exploring natural dyes. We’ll also experiment with making mosaic stepping stones and learn about how art can bring beauty to shared spaces. Students will collaborate on a group artwork that will be donated to benefit Habitat for Humanity—giving their creativity a powerful purpose.
