Theme: Fiber Arts Studio: Project Focus
This drop-in studio session is a perfect opportunity for students in Grades 1st through 8th to explore advanced fiber art techniques without the six-week commitment! Each Saturday, we will focus on a specific, exciting project designed to build practical art skills and encourage creative expression.
Students will get hands-on experience with:
January 17th Paper Making: Learning to turn fiber pulp into beautiful, unique sheets of paper.
January 31st Textile Printing: Using block printing and other techniques to create designs on fabric.
February 14th Weaving: Exploring basic techniques to interlace materials and create textured textiles.
February 28th Wool Felting: Sculpting soft, colorful wool into shapes and figures.
